This ecovillage (also named as Rostok and Solnechnaya Dolina) was founded at 2001 at Dubovoy village (Belokalitvenskiy district, Rosotov Region, Russian Federation) by group of like-minded people.
Now 23 families have land there, and possible 9 of them spents winters there. They create famaly estates (kin's domains). Annually (September – October) ecovillages provides international meetings and practical natural building seminars.
At April '2007 Alexaner Hodgson (eco-builder from the UK) visited Dubovoy and spent there several days. Roof of Community House in Dubovoy then was made by his project.
